New Web Site

The new Edinburgh Hawkwatch web site was launched 11 May 2011. We now include information on all of the birds of prey that are regularly seen in Edinburgh including Kestrel, Peregrine, Buzzard, Tawny owl and Barn owl. Please record your sightings of any of these species (or any other bird of prey!) on the Sightings in Edinburgh page.

In the transition from the previous web site I have deleted a large number of user registrations, a high proportion of which appear to be mischievous if not malicious. I have tried to retain original registrations of people genuinely interested in Edinburgh birds of prey. If your login has been lost in the transitions - my apologies - please re-register. Users who submit posts to the site will be promoted to 'Friend' with added facilities and reduced security measures.

Please send any comments to me at Hawkwatch@cjlonline.org or add as a comment on this Forum topic.
